Life rarely happens in a continuous straight  line, we need to accept that the journey and the reason may change with time, and we must be prepared to adapt to life’s twists and turns.

Do you dread saying no to events and friends because you are afraid of what people might think of you? Martha Beck, said: ‘When it comes to saying yes or no, choose the answer that feels like freedom.’  You may need to release the desire to please everyone, and harness the control of your own life. Are you going to make your choices deliberately or allow other people’s agendas to control you?

Are you constantly questioning yourself and asking – ‘Should I try that?’ ‘What if I don’t like it?’ and ‘Will this work?’ You often only know the answers through experiment. By pushing yourself to try new things, you could allow yourself to live a life with experience, rather than one, potentially, based on regret.

Values may come from the head and they may come from the heart, however in many ways they are the things that make up our soul. Physiologically we will see a much greater state of coping and relaxation when people are carrying out actions closely aligned to their values. So, this leads to the question…. what are yours?
